broken-opacity

An opacity modifier on a colour whose theme value color-mix() cannot dim.

• csszyx check reports it in its broken-opacity pass.
• It is printed to the console. A production browser bundle leaves it out.
• The build does not report it; only the runtime lane does.

A name in angle brackets is a value the message fills in.

[csszyx] broken-opacity: `<className>` carries an opacity modifier that does not apply: its theme token resolves to the bare comma triplet `<value>`, which `color-mix()` cannot dim.

Level

Default: error under recommended, error under atomic. Set it in csszyx.config: rules: { 'broken-opacity': 'warn' }.

The level sets how the build and csszyx check report it. It does not change a console line, and it does not stop a thrown error.
