property-object

An object on a key that names a property, not a variant.

• The build reports it while it compiles a file, and csszyx check lists it.
• It is printed to the console. A production browser bundle leaves it out.

Message

A name in angle brackets is a value the message fills in.

[csszyx] property-object: `<key>` sets a property and is not a variant, so its object `{ <nestedKeys> }` emits `<key>:*` classes that produce no CSS.

Level

Default: error under recommended, error under atomic. Set it in csszyx.config: rules: { 'property-object': 'warn' }.

The level sets how the build and csszyx check report it. It does not change a console line, and it does not stop a thrown error.
