unknown-field

A field a structured value (a mask layer) does not take.

• The build reports it while it compiles a file, and csszyx check lists it.
• It is printed to the console. A production browser bundle leaves it out.

Message

A name in angle brackets is a value the message fills in.

[csszyx] unknown-field: `<owner>` has no field `<member>`, and nothing is emitted for it.

Level

Default: error under recommended, error under atomic. Set it in csszyx.config: rules: { 'unknown-field': 'warn' }.

The level sets how the build and csszyx check report it. It does not change a console line, and it does not stop a thrown error.
